 The UK FinTech State of the Nation has described the objectives and impact of Fintech as “to address[es] the needs of underserved markets, including the financially excluded, and [it] helps to tie together an increasingly interconnected world, promoting trade and global growth.” 

The spread of COVID-19 has caused a slowdown felt in economies all over the world. To sustain productivity, companies across the globe have shifted towards automation and artificial intelligence among other technological-driven developments. As consumer lifestyles change and more individuals become familiar with e-payment services amidst the pandemic, we see more businesses consider new means to operate moving forward.
